Welcome to Daisy Press! I'm Adrianne, a stationery designer based in Houston, Texas. Throughout my life, I've always pushed the boundaries of creativity, driven by a deep-seated desire to explore my artistic side. It was after watching the movie '27 Dresses' with Katherine Heigl that I became certain event planning would be the avenue through which I could fully unleash my creativity. This conviction led me down the path of becoming a wedding planner, a role I believed would play a significant part in my future. After spending several years collaborating with renowned wedding planners in Houston, I discovered a profound love for the intricate art of letterpress printing. This newfound passion ultimately fueled my dedication to crafting exquisite fine letterpress stationery.

Letterpress
1. Designs are translated into polymer plates, a process involving the exposure of a reversed design onto light-sensitive polymer material. Each design element and color requires its dedicated plate, similar to a stamp.
2. These letterpress plates find their place on a secured base within the letterpress apparatus*. Through careful calibration using the base's grid and the machine's registration guides, the plate is perfectly aligned. Precise measurements are taken to guarantee impeccable printing.
3. The press is inked up with the letterpress ink, meticulously blended in-house, adhering to the Pantone formula guide. Letterpress printing is a one-color-at-a-time process*, mandating distinct plates and press runs for each color.
4. Specially sized cotton paper, tailored for the project, is carefully fed through the press by hand, one sheet at a time. Throughout the printing process, meticulous attention is giving to key factors like alignment, impression depth, ink saturation, and color uniformity.
5. Following the printing process, the paper undergoes precise trimming to attain its final dimensions.
